About the band/artist

Sadomasocristo is a death metal band based in Baguio City, Philippines. The band plays a not too melodic, not too progressive death metal. The early incarnation of Sadomasocristo started late 1999. At it's early stages, they were yet an unnamed band. They started using "Sadomasokristo" a year later and eventually settled with "Sadomasocristo". At it's early years, they covered songs from Death (The Sound of Perseverance and Symbolic albums), Carcass (Heartwork and Swansong albums), and Iron Maiden. A few line-up changes followed over the years. With the line-up of Glenhorde(vocals), Shylocke(lead/rhythm guitars), Tzed(drums/percussions), and Tredsyn(bass guitar), they recorded the long delayed demo track "Beyond Total Darkness". This was released as "Total Darkness and Eternal Isolation" split/EP with 2 tracks from Cryptic Terror. After a few months, Koops joined the band as second guitarist. The band also recorded a demo of "Fools Swallow the Sun" after. Sadomasocristo is now on the process of completing an EP consisting of 3 tracks (a re-recording of "Beyond Total Darkness", "Fools Swallow the Sun", and "Void, Thorns, Messiah") and new songs on the works.
