About the band/artist: This mainstream pop rock nu-metal band composed of young, 20-something musicians from the south was formed by Cage in July 2000 as a 4 piece band which did Pearl Jam and Silverchair covers and old school inspired originals.
Since August 2000, the band has played for San Miguel Beer in their hometown all the way up to 2005. The band has fronted for Cebu's Stagecrew(August 2000), Johnny & The Walkers(Nov.2000), Manila's Brownman Revival(2001), boyband Jeremiah(Cebu Sinulog 2004 festivities), Parokya ni Edgar(2004) all under the San Miguel Beer label.
Lithium AmeDi has grown tired of it's status as one of the best rock cover bands from their part of the world and have now taken their act to Manila to shop their originals.
Gone is the old underachieving line-up(grunge persona) and in is a more dynamic and all-genre surfing mainstream pop nu-metal outfit.
Lithium AmeDi isn't out for the count yet despite the spate of mishaps and tragedies that have riddled them in Manila. Dengue fever,nasty bouts with allergies,a couple of food poisoning incidents has plagued the band here in Manila and a near tragic vehicular accident that befell Liza crippled the band for several months as they had to nurse her back to health.
