- VELCRO – A band that carries a definitive Modern Rock and Alternative sound. Theirs is a musical experience that sticks to mind. The band’s crisp aural fix is a cohesion of skillful elements contributed by each of the members – Junji Arias on Vocals and Acoustic Guitar; James Diaz on Lead Guitar and back-up vocals; Bolichie Suzara on Bass; and Alex Fidel on Drums and Percussions. All of who are seasoned musicians having formerly played with a number established bands. VELCRO - On the airwaves bear a distinctive range and character and is all fired up to be the next important act in the local rock scene. Their debut album dubbed ‘Ubod Ng Lakas Na Dikuryenteng Kombo’ is distributed by NEO Records. From which comes the carrier single and video entitled ‘Bolunji’ which already has amassed considerable attention. ‘Bolunji’ is widely requested over popular FM stations and has already attained top 10 positioning in most airplay request countdowns. The album include notable tracks like ‘Beautiful’, ‘Kapag ako’y Umibig’ and ‘Collide’-the video for which is on MTV’s regular rotation. VELCRO – On stage boast of a potent stance, sound and presence. Their playing skills is an homage to their various rock influences as evidenced by their repertoire. They already have an established following in niche bar venues. The band has also rocked about 34 key cities around the Philippines touring as the featured band for Globe Gentxt events. The band covers a range of current Modern Rock favorites along with Classic Rock tunes and interspersed with their original songs. The result is a brand of music all their own.
