The Senticsphere has been laying down their brand of emotionally charged rock since 2005. As a solidified line up including Warren Hall- vocals, Roy Benetti- guitars, Chris 'Pooh' Poole- bass and Sean Welch- percussion, are delivering a formidable sound and character to build upon. Taking a steady and consistent approach has allowed the band to evolve as an artist and develop a loyal following in their hometown and abroad.
In 2006 their release 'Waking the Sun' (with the help of engineer Jason Mauza (Everclear, Foo Fighters, Kd Lang) has been reviewed online through garageband.com to much appraise. The group had won many online awards such as 'Track of the week' twice over. Dedicated to playing live and building the brand, they 've played numerous shows at what are considered to be premier venues in Vancouver and Whistler, creating a better live show experience with each performance. The band played their way up to and through most of 2007 where they again went into the studio to record their next EP.
These newly minted tracks 'Demons, Hiding Away and Sadness Fades' saw multiple re-edits and mastering sessions until they were released in early 2008.
Their single 'More' made it's way across oceans to be on the 2008 Australian motorsport DVD 'Gazza Nationals' soundtrack and is now available throughout Australia and New Zealand. Being a big year for the band, they were selected to play the 2008 NEW MUSIC WEST festival showcasing the Vancouver music scene. They also played in the Emergenza festival competing on a national level, they played through 5 months and over 200 bands to be the finalist in Vancouver. Being flown to Montreal to play to against some of the finest talent in the country, they received 2nd as 'Best Unsigned Talent' in the Nation.
The band is currently in production of their new full length record at GreenHouse Studios in Vancouver BC with production company JMP. Producing and engineering is Jay 'Juice' Evjen (The Age of Electric, Wide Mouth Mason, Hot Hot Heat). Due out for release is the highly anticipated album coming May 2009.
