- An all new rock/alternative band hailing from barbados ..SoUTH-11 has arrived to take things seriously . The four members ( no strangers to the music scene ) are Kirk Redman (drums ) Samud Ali (bass guitar) Jae Johansen ( lead vocals and acoustic guitar ) and Simon " new daddy " Pipe ( lead guitar ) .
The band performs an excellent range of alternative rock , indie and classic rock as well as writing their own material . And in the few months since their first performance , they have attracted a decent following on the island .The bands overall goal is to write , and record their own music . With the various influences and styles of the members their origional material is a cross of alternative rock, reggae , funk .... ................SoUTH-11 ..ROCK 'N' UR DIRECTION to a stage near you
