Formerly know as "Roxanne" we came up with a new line up of members, a new sound and a genuine class of bond. Our former band member, Robert Flores, had to left the country for some personal reasons. After he had left we had a hard time looking for a new drummer for the band. Luckily we had a very close friend, Djavad Espiritu, to cover up for our former drummer. We played some few gigs, and then the band grew... We had a new sound, and a new line up of ideas. Then we decided to change our band name, "Roxanne" was quite the adolescence of our band, as may be related to the early years of our progress. Now as we mature, grow more, and expanding our knowledge in music in relating with our band mates, understanding more deeply what the world entitles us to do and what we want to do we came up with the name "Rogue". Rogue is quite a more mature stage in our life. It also may represent Charlene, our vocalist, as a woman. A woman who battles, who fights and never backs down, but it doesn't mean it represents only her, it may represent a whole lot more of group of individuals. The idea wasn't 100% clear but what i know is that it was Simple, Cool and it kinda hit the idea of one of our compositions talking about a stereo-type superhero? I guess "Rogue" can't be defined at the moment but it will be when the time comes, it kinda reflects the life of the band. LARGE, DESTRUCTIVE, ANOMALOUS..
