- "The Emoticons are a San Francisco based Indie Rock group with a variety of individual influences united by a true passion for the craft of making music. Perhaps that is why the band name is so fitting, as each band member brings a different face to the music, and genuinely cares about their individual contributions. Inspirations range across the board, from OPM God's such as Eraserheads & Rivermaya, to some of the earlier sounds of Weezer "Blue", and a collective love for the classic sound of The Beatles.
The band has been playing together in one form or another since early 2000s, only recently adding new blood on synth & keys, increasing the overall depth of their sonic landscape. Yet, no matter what, one thing will always remain the same, bringing passionate indie music to the masses.
