About the band/artist
As the name BOK76 (a.k.a. Bonded on Kinship) implies, the relationship between these guys has become very strong that they see each other as brothers. The colloquial term “bok”, often heard today as synonymous to “brother” or “friend”, also emphasize the closeness of the group. This, in addition to their wide range of influences, has helped each of them define their own sound and create their own brand of music while maximizing the good voice blending of their two main crooners.

The sound of BOK76 is centered on emotions of melancholy that portrays life's (relationships and friendships in particular) frustrations, attacked positively with an upbeat tempo, accompanied by a heavy riff that is very pinoy rock.

The band released an independent album called REVELATIONS in November 2008. A
twelve-track recording signifying the rebirth of the band after a long slumber from the underground scene. The songs in the album contained the common themes of the band's music: guitar-driven songs of love, hate, angst, frustration, friendship, and good old classic rock n’ roll.

In the same month, the video of the band’s first single “Traydor” premiered on MYX and MTV. The song is also played in various radio stations across the country, primarily on NU 107 and RJUR 105.9. The band has then released a follow up single “Last Kiss”, which consistently topped the charts on RJUR’s countdown, besting other more famous acts.

On November, 2007, the band was featured on MYX Bandarito and was subsequently invited to front the 2008 edition of Summer MYX Fest and MYX MO! 2008 . The band was also included in the TANDUAY Rhum on Rock held at the CCP grounds last April 2008.

To start the year 2009, The band released their ballad and 3rd Single “Sa Panaginip” which aired on radio and music channels nationwide and has received quite a good response from the general listening and viewing public.

The band, who is composed of Erwin Bautista (vocals), Donini Montealegre (guitars/vocals),
Jay Castelo (drums/percussion), Onin Paz (bass) and Elwynn Dayrit (guitars), has been continuously playing in various bars in the Metro such as: Club Dredd, 6Underground, RJ Bar, Mag.net Café, Freedom Bar, Mayrics, and Saguijo to name a few.

And to cater the growing number of BOK76 fans and followers, the band’s main website www.bok76.com , was launched on May 2008. The site which includes online ordering also features news update on the band’s gig scheds, music samplers, lyrics and new releases, member profile, and band photos.
