About the band/artist

The birth of "Ampon" occurred when Reniel Buyan(former vocals of Shiva Shanti and the disbanded Switch), Marc Alvin Garcia (guitarist of Nostradamus Junior), Patrick Valdez (also bassist of Nostadamus Junior), Chester Peralta and Albert Rico (both from Shivashanti) jammed during a private party that was held somewhere in La Union. They decided to make it as their side project band to retain each member's main band intact. There influences range from blues, funk, jazz, reggae, rock and even old school hip-hop . The band was named "Ampon" meaning "adopted" in layman's term.
